SSSS College of Commerce organized an insightful, hands-on workshop on “Canva and Al Design Tools” under the aegis of its Employability Skills Bootcamp and an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme “From Job Seeker to Job Creator” under Fintech and Entrepreneurial Skills Bootcamp in collaboration with Sourish Chawla Foundation, as a Section 8 not-for-profit initiative on September 5, 2026. During the Employability Skills Bootcamp, the resource persons for the session, Ms. Shagun and Ms. Gurleen Kaur from the Department of Computer Science, apprised the students of various contemporary features in Canva alongside emerging Al-driven utilities.
Through practical demonstrations and real-world design exercises-particularly focused on brochure designing and digital collateral creation-the session provided students with valuable exposure to visual communication and design aesthetics.During the session on Entrepreneurship Awareness,Mr.S.Rana from Rana Investments provided the students practical exposure to entrepreneurial mindset and opportunity identification, converting ideas into viable business opportunities, understanding risk, failure and resilience, financial discipline and responsible decision-making.
While some participants were engaged enthusiastically throughout the interactive practical segments, exploring innovative ways to apply these digital tools in professional contexts, the others were taught real-world entrepreneurship beyond classroom theory.
